SCHEDULING
REGULATIONS
Â
Scheduling
will be the complete responsibility of the Executive Committee, with the
Secretary serving as the primary administrator in the scheduling process.
Â
A MASTER
SCHDULE will posted for the entire calendar year by January 1st.
Each team will be contacted by November 1st with the request to
specify dates that are unavailable. They will be required to return this
information in writing to the Union's Secretary by December 1st and
the final schedule will be posted by January 1st.
Â
Any rescheduling
of matches for any reason will be handled by the Union's Secretary. If a coach
or team has a concern about the scheduling of a match they can bring this issue
to the Executive Council and a decision will be made within (10) days.
Â
All Union
events will be on this schedule including meetings, tournaments, special
events, UNION MATCHES (Non UNION matches will be up to the individual club),
fundraisers, etc.

REFEREE
REGULATIONS
Â
The Master
schedule will be presented to the Referee's Society by the Union by February 1st
and August 1st of each respective season. (FALL and SPRING) Although
the Union will submit this schedule, it is still the responsibility of the team
to make sure a referee is scheduled.
Â
The
Referee's Society will return a completed schedule and it will be posted by
March 1st.
Â
Teams need
to make sure to call and confirm the referee will be officiating their match
within 48hrs of the match beginning.
Â
A check
needs to be presented to the referee that is officiating their match prior to
it starting. The amount is based on the assigned amount configured by the
Referee's Society Executive Council.
Â
Each team
needs to have a binder in their possession at each match with contains their
current roster (printed from the USA Membership Website), Medical Insurance
& Identification Form for each player, and a Liability Waiver for each
player on their roster.
Â
The binder
must be presented to the opposing team's coach or captain 20 mins. before
match. If a coach believes that a player is not eligible, they can request an
ID check, performed and confirmed or denied from the referee.
Â
A match
report must be completed online (www.greatplainsrugby.com) by both team's
coaches and the referee within 24hrs of the matches' completion. These will
stay on file with the Union for 1 year.

Division III Men's Team will play each other one in each of the two competitive
seasons. (Spring and Fall) They will alternate traveling to and from each
other's location. The team with the best record based on the 3-2-1-0 point
system for a win, tie, loss, or forfeit. The bonus point system for scoring
more than four tries in a match will be in effect.

Season will serve as the competitive season for Collegiate Men's Division II
play. Each Collegiate Men's Division II Team will play each other once in the
FALL. They will alternate traveling to and from each other's location based on
the previous year. The team with the best record based on the 3-2-1-0 point
system for a win, tie, loss, or forfeit. The bonus point system for scoring
more than four tries in a match will be in effect.
